Tri-Nations TAG Rugby Tournament

I recently represented Great Britain in the TAG Rugby Tri-Nations tournament in Dublin against Australia and Ireland.

We've been training in preparation for the tournament for the last three to four months and, although we didn't come home with the trophy, there was plenty of serious sportsmanship and I managed to come away with a nice clutch of tries (always very satisfying!).

The meet was a great way to explore the depth in the sport in this country and for me personally to really focus on improving my game and my fitness.

Playing sport is a huge part of my life and being able to represent Great Britain once again is a true honour.

It's important for me to always have goals (yes - me too!) to work towards, to keep me motivated. Events such as this are a huge driver.

Whether you play competitive sports or just for fun, it's a great way to get out there and run around.

There are so many options - run clubs, tennis tournaments, 5 or 10k races, to name just a few. And it's also a fantastic way to meet interesting people.

Check out the sports on offer in your local community or grab some friends and start something yourself.

So, what's your sport (or game) of choice?
